Quarterback Chris Greisen, a native of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, led his high school football team to the Division 3 state finals as a senior in 1993.
He consequently earned a scholarship to Northwest Missouri State University, where he became a two time All-American quarterback and a three-time Academic All-Conference player. His senior year, Chris was named the Division II College Football Player of the Year after leading his team to a 15-0 record and a national championship.
He was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in the seventh round of the 1999 NFL Draft and played four years in the NFL. From there he traveled the world, making a stop in Dusseldorf, Germany, to play with the Rhein Fire of the NFL Europe league. Coach Greisen's dream of getting back into the NFL then detoured him through the Arena Football League where in 6 seasons (4 starting) he shattered franchise and league passing records in touchdown passes(117,) passing yardage (5,146,) and completion percentage (74%.) Coach Greisen was also named Offensive Player of the Year in 2007 (media) and 2010.
In 2009 and 2010, Coach Greisen was also a member of the Florida Tuskers of the United Football League where he was a backup QB behind the league's MVP, Brooks Bollinger. He then got his first outdoor start of his long professional career in his second year with the Tuskers. He made the best of that opportunity as he went on to lead his team to three consecutive wins and a berth in the team's second consecutive championship game. Following Coach Greisen's solid performance at the end of the UFL season and extraordinary perseverance, the Dallas Cowboys signed him to their active roster the last week of the 2010 season. It had been 9 years since he had been on an active roster in the NFL, an unofficial record.
In the following season, 2011, Coach Greisen, at 35 lead his team, the Virginia Destroyers coach by Marty Schottenheimer, to the UFL Championship. Following the conclusion to the UFL season and with three games remaining in the NFL season, the Dallas Cowboys came calling again to sign Coach Greisen. Coach Greisen is now retired after playing 14 season as a professional football quarterback. He is currently working a teacher at Notre Dame Academy as a theology and math teacher along with being an assistant football coach.
Coach Greisen is married to his high school sweetheart, Shannon. They've been blessed with four wonderful children.
Chris Rogers began his career outside of Washington DC leading his High School to the Maryland State 4A championships in 1995. Due to his outstanding play he was selected as the starting cornerback in the Chesapeake Classic Maryland vs. Virginia All Star Game.
Chris earned a scholarship to Howard University where he was a four year starter winning the HBCU national championship in 1996. As a senior, Rogers was first team all MEAC at cornerback and was named the team’s defensive MVP.
Chris started 10 games in his rookie season with the Minnesota Vikings before his career was cut short by injuries. Chris has been employed by a charter school in Minneapolis, MN, helping to shape the youth of tomorrow, for over a decade! Chris has two daughters Simone and London.
