After he graduated from Howard University, he went undrafted in the NFL Draft, but earned his way onto the Minnesota Vikings in 1999. He played one season for the Vikings before officially retiring from the NFL and becoming a youth football coach. After his retirement, Chris became a coach in the Minnesota area and has coached at many different high schools, including Providence Academy, Edison, and Prior Lake.
