PLAYER PROFILE:
Tyrone Tracy Jr. is a running back for the New York Giants in the National Football League. Tyrone attended high school at Decatur Central in Indianapolis, Indiana where he was a standout on the football team. As a Senior in high school, he totaled over 2,500 all-purpose yards and scored 29 touchdowns! He was rated a 3-star prospect coming out of high school and committed to the University of Iowa. For the next three years, Tyrone was part of a running back committee at Iowa, but still put up over 800 total yards and 5 touchdowns over those three years. After the 2021 season ended, Tyrone decided to transfer to Purdue where he would get more playing time. His first season in Purdue in 2022, saw him only record a little over 300 total yards, however everything changed in 2023 when he transitioned to a wide receiver/running back role. In 2023, Tyrone was the most dynamic player for Purdue and totaled over 800 yards & 8 touchdowns! After his excellent 2023 season, he declared for the 2024 NFL Draft! Tyrone would be drafted in the 5th Round (166th overall) by the New York Giants and although it took him a few weeks to get ready to play at the NFL level, he became a starter in week 5! Since getting playing time in week 5, Tyrone has been one of the main offensive catalysts for the Giants and he looks like a future star at the running back position! We are so excited to have Tyrone Tracy Jr. at camp with us in 2025! Your chance to meet him will be July 12-15, 2025 at Drew University in Madison, NJ. Don't miss out!
