PLAYER PROFILE:
Shaun Wade is a cornerback for the New England Patriots in the National Football League. Shaun is a native of Jacksonville, Florida and attended High School at Trinity Christian Academy, where he won the State Title 4 years in a row! Shaun was one of the best High School Senior football players in the country and was named USA Today's High School Football Defensive Player of the Year in 2016. He received countless college offers, but decided to attend Ohio State University. Shaun redshirted as a Freshman at Ohio State, but became a full-time starter as a Sophomore. He really broke out, however, as a Junior, when he was named a consensus All-American and Tatum-Woodson Defensive Back Player of the year (given to the best defensive back in college football)! After his Junior Season, Shaun declared for the 2021 NFL Draft and was selected in the 5th Round (160th overall) by the Baltimore Ravens. Before suiting up for the Ravens in his Rookie year, Shaun was traded to the New England Patriots. Over the last three years with the Patriots, Shaun has been primarily a depth and special teams' player. He has recorded 26 tackles and 1 pass deflection in his NFL career.
