Roman Oben Player Profile

PLAYER PROFILE:

Roman Oben is a former offensive lineman who played for the New York Giants, Cleveland Browns, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and San Diego Chargers over his 12-year career. He played collegiately at Louisville, where he was a 4-year starter and an Independent First-Team Selection as a junior. After college, Roman was drafted in the third round by the New York Giants in the 1996 NFL Draft. He became a key member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Super Bowl winning team in 2002. In his pro career, he started 143 games, with 90% of those starts at left tackle. Roman was also inducted into the Kentucky Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2013. After retiring in 2007, he became the NFL Vice President of Youth and High School Football, a position he still holds today. Roman was a featured instructor for our 2021 & 2022 camps and we're really excited to have him back with us in 2023!
