PLAYER PROFILE:
Max Lane is a former NFL Offensive Lineman that spent seven seasons playing for the New England Patriots. Max attended the United States Naval Academy and spent his entire 4-year college career with them. After an outstanding 4-year college career as a starter, Max declared for the 1994 NFL Draft and would be drafted in the sixth round by the New England Patriots. He would spend his entire NFL career with the Patriots. During Max’s seven-year career with the Patriots, he became a stalwart along the offensive line, playing in 100 regular season games and 7 playoff games. After Max’s Career ended after the 2001 season, he was selected as a member of the New England Patriots All-1990’s team. He was a consistent presence along their offensive line and part of the first Patriots team to play in the Super Bowl. Since his retirement in 2001, Max has continued to work with youth as a football coach, while also working for NBC Sports Radio in Boston.
