Josh Oliver Player Card

Josh Oliver is a tight end for the Minnesota Vikings in the National Football League! Josh was born in Templeton, California and his family has a great history of athletic success. His uncle was an NFL defensive back in the 1960's and 1970's, and his second cousin was a pitcher in the MLB for 20 years! He starred on the football and basketball team at Paso Robles High School in California. Although he played both offense and defense for his high school football team, he committed to San Jose State as a tight end. In College, Josh was a key contributor to the San Jose State offense from 2015-2018, collecting 98 receptions, 1,067 receiving yards, and seven touchdowns in his college career. He was also named a Mountain West Conference All-Academic honoree all 4 years, as well as a 1st-team All-Mountain West Conference selection as a Senior for his outstanding play! After graduating from San Jose State, Josh was selected in the 3rd round (69th overall) by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 2019 NFL Draft! He spent the next two seasons in Jacksonville before being traded to the Baltimore Ravens where he became a key contributor as a blocking tight end for the Ravens. In 2023, Josh signed a 3-year, $21 million contract with the Minnesota Vikings as a free agent and has had two great seasons for the Vikings! For his career, Josh has appeared in 67 games and recorded 70 receptions, 701 receiving yards, & 7 touchdowns! We are ecstatic to welcome Josh Oliver to our camp in 2025!
