PLAYER PROFILE:
Josh Jobe is a cornerback for the Seattle Seahawks in the National Football League. Josh grew up in talent-rich Miami, Florida and attended Christopher Columbus High School. He was a standout on the football field and was rated a 4-star recruit going into his senior season of high school. He actually transferred to Chesire Academy in Chesire, Connecticut for his senior season where he dominated. He had originally been committed to his hometown team, the University of Miami, but ended up flipping his commitment to Alabama. As a freshman at Alabama, Josh appeared in 4 games as a reserve defensive back. However, he became a full-time player as a sophomore and appeared in 10 games. He really broke out during his junior season in 2020, where he became a full-time starter and recorded 55 tackles, 2 sacks & 11 pass deflections! He also helped the Crimson Tide win the 2020 National Championship! He decided to return to school for his senior season in 2021 and had another strong year before declaring for the 2022 NFL Draft. Although, he would go undrafted in the 2022 Draft, he quickly signed with the Philadelphia Eagles as a free agent. He impressed the Eagles coaching staff as a rookie and was one of three undrafted players to make the Eagles roster in 2022! As a Rookie, Josh appeared in 11 games as a special teams' player before becoming a key depth piece in his second season with the Eagles. During his 2nd season, Josh played in all 17 games, with 3 starts. He accumulated 22 tackles & 4 pass deflections during his second season with the Eagles. Before the 2024 season, Josh found his way onto the Seattle Seahawks roster and became a key part of their secondary. During the 2024 season, Josh recorded 37 tackles, 7 pass deflections and 1 interception in 10 games. He re-signed with the Seahawks for the 2025 season, and he'll look to continue to be a valuable piece of their defense in 2025!
