Jaylon Holmes - Player Profile

PLAYER PROFILE:

Jaylon Holmes is a current defensive end for the New York Giants in the National Football League. Jaylon was an extraordinary high school athlete at Lake Taylor High School and received countless Division-I football scholarships. He decided to attend Ohio State University, where he was a three-year starter from 2015-2017. During his college career, he was a two-time All Big-Ten Conference Honorable Selection and totaled 85 tackles, 15 tackles for loss, and 5 sacks. After his tremendous career at Ohio State, Jaylon declared for the 2018 NFL Draft, where he was selected in the fourth Round by the Minnesota Vikings. Jaylon spent his rookie year with Minnesota alternating from their practice squad to their 53-man roster. He did record his first career sack during his rookie year in Week 7 against the New York Jets. Jaylon would spend the next two years as a valuable depth piece for the Vikings before signing with the New York Giants as a free agent in 2022, where he is hoping to be a part of their defensive line. Jaylon was a featured instructor for our 2022 camp.
