PLAYER PROFILE:
Elijah Arroyo is a tight end for the Seattle Seahawks in the National Football League. Elijah was born in Orlando, Florida, but moved to Cancún, Mexico when he was seven years old. He moved back to the United States when he was 13 years old, so he could play football. He played high school football at Independence High School in Frisco, Texas, where he excelled as a receiver. In his junior & senior high school seasons, Elijah recorded over 1,200 receiving yards and 17 touchdowns! After graduating in Texas, Elijah committed to the University of Miami, going back to his birth State. As a freshman at Miami in 2021, Elijah played in all 12 games for the Hurricanes, but was primarily used as a blocking tight end. After his strong freshman season, Elijah dealt with injuries as a sophomore and junior, but continued to rehab and fight to come back stronger. That work ethic allowed him to have a strong senior season at Miami where he became the full-time starting tight end. In his senior season in 2024, he recorded 35 receptions for 590 yards, and 7 touchdowns! He also played in all 13 games for the Hurricanes. After graduating from Miami, Elijah declared for the 2025 NFL Draft and would be selected in the 2nd round (50th overall) by the Seattle Seahawks! Going into his rookie season in 2025, Elijah has a great chance to help a strong Seahawks offense and we can't wait to see what he does! We are extremely excited to have Elijah at camp with us at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA this summer! Your chance to meet Elijah Arroyo, Marcus Trufant and other members of the Seattle Seahawks is June 29-July 2, 2025. Don't miss out!
