PLAYER PROFILE:
Demario Douglas is a wide receiver for the New England Patriots in the National Football League. Demario grew up in St. Augustine, Florida. After his sophomore year in high school, Demario transferred to Mandarin High School where he caught passes from current Georgia Bulldogs quarterback Carson Beck. He had a monster Senior season in high school as he recorded 1,700 all-purpose yards and scored 18 touchdowns! After high school, Douglas committed to Liberty University and would spend the next 4 years with the school. He redshirted as a Freshman, before recording 32 reception, 363 receiving yards, and 3 touchdowns in his second year. He continued to improve each year in college and finished his Junior year with 79 receptions, 993 yards, and 6 touchdowns! After his Junior year, Douglas decided to forgo his Senior year and declared for the 2023 NFL Draft. He would be selected in the 6th round (210th overall) by the New England Patriots. As a Rookie in 2023, Demario played in 14 games and recorded 49 receptions for 561 yards. He became a big part of their offense late in the 2023 season and he's looking to break out in 2024!
