Curtis Jacobs Player Profile

PLAYER PROFILE:

Curtis Jacobs is a linebacker for the New England Patriots in the National Football League. Curtis grew up in Maryland and played for McDonogh High School in Owings Mills, Maryland. He was a standout on the football team and played both ways as a wide receiver & defensive back. He was one of the top recruits in the State of Maryland as a Senior in high school and participated in the 2020 Under Armour All-America Game, which is only for the top high school players in the country. After graduating from high school in 2020, Curtis committed to Penn State University. He would play in 8 games as a true freshman, but became a full-time starter at linebacker as a sophomore. As a sophomore, Curtis started 12 games and recorded 61 tackles, 3 sacks, and an interception. He followed-up his tremendous sophomore year by recording 52 tackles, 4 sacks, and a pick-six as a junior! After his junior season, Curtis elected to return to Penn State for his senior season. As a senior, Curtis played in all 13 games for the Nittany Lions and was able to graduate from Penn State in 2024. After graduation, Curtis went undrafted in the 2024 NFL Draft, but quickly signed as an undrafted free agent with the Kansas City Chiefs. He would eventually make his way onto the New England Patriots roster for the 2024 season. In 2024 with the Patriots, Curtis appeared in 9 games with 2 starts and recorded 4 total tackles.
