Cordale Flott Player Profile

PLAYER PROFILE:

Cordale Flott is a cornerback for the New York Giants in the National Football League. Cordale grew up in Saraland, Alabama and was a four-year starter for his high school team. He was rated as a 3-star recruit coming out of high school and initially committed to play for Auburn University before flipping to Louisiana State University. Even though he played on a stacked LSU team as a Freshman, he still appeared in 14 games for LSU during their National Championship season in 2020. He recorded 15 tackles and 4 pass deflections as a Freshman. After his Freshman season, Cordale stepped into a starting role as a Sophomore and appeared in every game, recording 43 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, and 4 pass deflections. He followed that up with an even better season as a Junior and recorded 41 tackles, 1 interception, and 4 pass deflections. It was clear after his Junior season that Cordale had completed everything he could in college and decided to forgo his Senior season and declare for the NFL Draft. He was selected in the third round (81st overall) by the New York Giants in the 2022 NFL Draft! As a Rookie, Cordale played as a rotational cornerback and special teams' player. He recorded 26 tackles, 2 pass deflections, and 1 forced fumble as a Rookie. He then followed it up by playing in 14 games in his 2nd year with the Giants, becoming a key part of their secondary! He recorded 36 tackles and 1 interception in his second season. He'll look to continue that momentum into his crucial 3rd season with the Giants! We are so excited to have Cordale Flott back with us for the second straight camp season after he attended our camp in 2023! Your chance to meet Cordale and other members of the New York Giants & Jets is June 26th-29th, 2024!
