PLAYER PROFILE:

Cameron Dantzler is a current NFL cornerback for the Minnesota Vikings. Dantzler has spent his first 2 professional seasons as a member of the Vikings and will be returning for his third year with the team in 2022. Dantzler attended Mississippi State University where he was a three-year starter for the Bulldogs. He made an immediate impact as a freshman and started all 13 games at cornerback. He ended his tremendous freshman year by intercepting future NFL MVP Lamar Jackson in the 2017 Tax slayer Bowl. Cameron followed up his stellar freshman year, with even better play as a sophomore. He recorded a remarkably low 41.1 passer rating against quarterbacks, while not surrendering any touchdowns. He also earned a 2nd-team All-SEC Selection as a sophomore. After another strong season as a Junior, Dantzler would declare for the 2020 NFL draft where he was selected in the third round by the Minnesota Vikings. He made an immediate impact with the Vikings and was named a week-1 starter in his rookie season. Dantzler also earned a spot on the PFWA All-rookie team. In his first two years, Dantzler has accumulated 94 tackles, 2 forced fumbles, a fumble recovery, 12 pass deflections and 3 interceptions. Cameron was a featured instructor for our 2022 camp.
