Blake Proehl Player Profile

PLAYER PROFILE:

Blake Proehl is a wide receiver for the Minnesota Vikings in the National Football League. Blake grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina and attended Providence High School, where he was a 4-year varsity starter. During his Senior season, Blake recorded 52 receptions, 1,016 yards, and 12 touchdowns. He was named a 1st-Team All-SoMeck 8 Conference Selection. After high school, Blake decided to stay close to home and committed to East Carolina University. He would spend four years at East Carolina, and even though he suffered two injury plagued seasons, he had a breakout Junior Season where he recorded 47 receptions, 577 yards, and 4 touchdowns. After his Junior season, he shocked his coaches by forgoing his Senior season and declaring for the 2021 NFL Draft. Most NFL scouts thought he could've benefitted from another season in college, but he decided to enter the NFL Draft. He went undrafted in 2021, but quickly signed with the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free agent. For the last two years, Blake has been a member of the Vikings practice squad but is hoping to make the 53-man roster in 2023! We look forward to having Blake at camp with us this June! Your chance to meet Blake Proehl and other members of the Minnesota Vikings is June 25-28, 2023 at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN. Don't miss out!
