 PLAYER PROFILE:

Blake Cashman is a linebacker for the New York Jets of the National Football League. He played college football at the University of Minnesota and was drafted by the Jets in the fifth round of the 2019 NFL Draft. Cashman played a critical role for the Gophers during his college career and was a three-year starter for them. Cashman really broke out his senior year at Minnesota, as he led the team with 104 tackles (62 solo), 2.5 sacks and 15 tackles for loss. He was named a second team All-Big Ten selection by the media and a third team All-Big Ten selection by the coaches his senior year. Since entering the NFL, Cashman has been a key special teams' player and an important depth piece for the Jets in his first 3 years. He has totaled 47 tackles and 0.5 sack in his NFL career.
