At our programs, participants receive up to 6 hours of instruction each day. Players will learn individual and team techniques on both offense and defense from the best instructors available. The veteran coaching staff will ensure each player is placed in the appropriate group to allow coaches to progressively teach basic and advanced techniques to best benefit each group from Youth to High School. Sports International will help you develop your skills and take your game to the next level. Learn even more about the features and benefits of our programs.
For high school players, this is also an excellent opportunity to receive the best instruction available and to be seen by an outstanding lineup of college coaches. JOIN LAWYER MILLOY AND MEMBERS OF THE SEATTLE SEAHAWKS
An amazing athlete, Milloy attended Lincoln High School in Tacoma, WA and excelled in football, baseball and basketball. He earned Parade All-American honors his senior year, was a three-time All-Narrows League choice and was considered the top prep prospect in the state his senior year.
Milloy was one of the dominant defenders in the Pac-10 as a junior at Washington, starting all year at free safety and led the team in tackles for the second consecutive season with 115 stops. In 1995, he earned Parade All- American honors and first-team All-American honors by Associated Press, Walter Camp, UPI, the American Football Coaches Association, the Football Writers Association and the Football News. He was also a finalist for the Jim Thorpe Award given annually to the nation's best defensive back. he also lettered three seasons in baseball and was drafted by the Cleveland Indians out of high school and by the Detroit Tigers in 1995.
He was originally selected by New England in the second-round (36th overall) of the 1996 NFL Draft. Signed by Buffalo as an unrestricted free agent in 2003, and by Atlanta in 2006, and by the Seahawks in 2009. After the 2010 game against the Bears, Lawyer Milloy joined the 20-20 club after getting 2 sacks (20 sacks and 20 interceptions). There are only 10 NFL players in history in this very prestigious club.
"He always brought it, every play," said Carroll. "He stood for so much good stuff about the game of football. It was so important to him to play at the level that he played every play. Fifteen years in the league! When I finally watched his film and saw him knocking the fire out of people I kept thinking, 'He can't keep doing this ... he can't get up.' He wasn't only getting up, he was getting up and standing over guys and being all jacked up. He brought so much to the Seahawks."
Milloy was a four-time Pro Bowler (1998, 1999, 2001, 2002) and during his time in New England, he was a part of two Super Bowl teams (1996, 2001), including the Super Bowl XXXVI championship team. He surpassed the 100-tackle plateau for the 11th time in career in 2008 with 117 stops. He posted a career-high 173 stops in 1999 and six interceptions. He started all 16 games 10 times in career, including 122 straight, from 1996-2003. He led the Patriots in tackles each season from 1998-2001. In his 218 career games, he ranked fourth among active players in career tackles and first among safeties with 1,615.
Camp is a tremendous opportunity for a family member or coach and athlete to share something very precious and rare in today's society - time together! Volunteer as a counselor today! Learn More below
