Participants will receive coaching from knowledgeable and passionate instructors, who have experience in college and/or professional football.
By providing snap-to-kick instruction, kickers, punters, and long snappers are provided a very unique opportunity to train and develop together putting them in a “game situation” every practice with one-on-one instruction.
All levels of kickers, punters, and long snappers are encouraged to attend camp. Players will be in groups according to age and their present level of skill. Campers can participate as both a kicker and punter if desired.
Our training techniques guide participants through a skill-learning process, where every teaching experience has a purpose. This allows our staff to identify each camper’s personal needs and develop their skills.
During practice, each camper will receive an in-depth, comprehensive review of the skills and fundamentals they have learned. This will allow them to continue to develop these same techniques in a systematic order that simulates a game situation. Our goal is to encourage each athlete to continue to “raise the bar.”
VIDEOTAPE ANALYSIS: Each participant will have an opportunity to review film from practice with some of the top coaches in your area! You will find our videotape analysis sessions are an excellent training tool to break down technique and are invaluable in the learning process.
SUPERVISION AND BACKGROUND CHECKS! Safety and security are a concern for Sports International, and therefore, we conduct background checks on all staff, coaches, and counselors that attend camp. In addition, there are athletic trainers on duty to attend to the player’s needs. On the field, athletes are under the watchful eye of our coaching staff and off the field counselors are in charge of supervision. In addition, the majority of the campuses where we hold our programs have campus police and/or security staff on campus and available 24 hours a day.
Top performers in the 15-18 year old age group will be considered for the Sports International Gridiron Elite. The Gridiron Elite is an exclusive club made up of the top performers from the 15-18 age group that attend our programs throughout the country. Each recipient was hand selected by the coaching staff. Each one of our award winners was able to perform at an extremely high level to earn the recognition and praise of their coaches. As a member of the Gridiron Elite, Sports International will be sending each camper's information to over 2,500 college coaches throughout the nation to aid in their recruiting efforts.
Eligibility: In accordance with NCAA regulations and state rules, players in high school are eligible to attend the camp without jeopardizing their athletic eligibility. The Sports International Kicking, Punting, and Long Snapping Camp meets ALL NCAA and state eligibility rules.
Tuition includes housing accommodations, all you can eat meals, and use of recreational facilities. Overnight and commuter options available.
All participants will receive a free camp T-shirt.
