Founded in 1983, we have the best teaching football programs in the nation having graduated over 103,000 athletes, many currently playing at the college level. This will be our 34th successful year of football instruction. If you are an experienced football player or just starting football, our football programs are an experience you will never forget!
Athletes learn from outstanding veteran college and high school coaches selected for their ability to coach and teach the game of football. At our programs, participants receive up to 6 hours of instruction each day. Players will learn individual and team techniques on both offense and defense from the best instructors available. The veteran coaching staff will ensure each player is placed in the appropriate group to allow coaches to progressively teach basic and advanced techniques to best benefit each group from Youth to High School. Sports International will help you develop your skills and take your game to the next level. Learn even more about the features and benefits of our programs.
For high school players, this is also an excellent opportunity to receive the best instruction available and to be seen by an outstanding lineup of college coaches. High school players aged 15-18 are eligible for the exclusive Gridiron Elite. A detailed information packet on each member of the Gridiron Elite will be sent to over 2,500 college football coaches to help each player receive recognition at the college level. Also, through our partnership with NCSA, they will send each award winner's information to an additional 5,000 coaches across the country.
JOIN WHITNEY MERCILUS AND ALFRED BLUE
Mercilus attended Garfield High School in Akron, Ohio, where he played defensive end and tight end for the Garfield Rams, earning Northeast Ohio Inland All-Star team, Cleveland Plain-Dealer Defensive All-Star team and All-District honors.
Mercilus went on to play at the University of Illinois from 2009-2011, where he was recognized as a unanimous All-American during his junior season, leading the country in quarterback sacks (16) and forced fumbles (9). Mercilus was named a first-team All-Big Ten selection by both the coaches and media, and also won the 2011 Ted Hendricks Award, 2011 Bill Willis Award, and 2011 CFPA Defensive Performer of the Year.
With five sacks in 2014, Mercilus moved into fifth place on the franchise’s all-time sacks list in just three seasons, with 18 career sacks.
In 2015, Mercilus finished tied for sixth in the NFL sacks, also recording 52 total tackles, a forced fumble and two passes defended.
“I really can’t say enough about Whitney Mercilus,” head coach Bill O’Brien said after a game. “I mean, he practices every snap in practice. He takes some scout team reps because we were a little bit thin at linebacker. Then, he goes in the game and he’s played better and better every game. He’s a great guy, a really good teammate, a hardworking guy. He’s just played really well for us this year and I think that was what I saw out there from the sideline.”
At Hahnville High School in Louisiana, Blue rushed for 1,695 yards and 25 touchdowns as a senior in 2009, was a member of the SuperPrep Southwest Team, earned Class 5A first-team all-state honors, and was named the District 6-5A 2009 Offensive MVP.
In his college career at LSU, Blue started seven games with the Tigers, and rushed for 1,253 yards and 11 touchdowns, with three 100-yard rushing games.
In his first regular season game as a rookie with the Texans, Blue blocked a punt against the Washington Redskins and returned it for a touchdown. Later that season, Blue ran for 156 yards on a franchise record 36 attempts against the Cleveland Browns.
On December 7, 2014, Blue scored his first career rushing touchdown against the Jacksonville Jaguars. At that moment, Blue became the first player in franchise history with a rushing, receiving and return touchdown in the same season. Blue finished the 2014 season with 528 yards, which was the fourth-highest total for a rookie rusher in franchise history.
Blue rushed for 698 yards on 183 carries and had four total touchdowns during the 2015 season. On January 9, 2016, making his first career NFL postseason start against Kansas City, Blue rushed for 99 yards on 17 carries, a 5.8 yard average.
